Obedience in Hebrew “Shama” means to listen, obey or to hear. Anytime we talk about the scriptures, you will always be told to obey every of its content to be successful. God told Joshua in Joshua 1:8 that “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” There are lots of blessings God promised us in the bible that can only be accessible via obedience.
